Reacts To The Donation
Of $35,000 To Radio Stations By
The National Administration of the United Bong County Association in the Americas (UBCAA) describes as reckless and insensitive recent decisions by members of the Bong County Development Fund under the Chairmanship of Rep. George Mulbah and with full knowledge of the Superintendent of Bong County Hon. Ranney B. Jackson to siphon $35000 from the Bong County Development Funds and donate same to so-called radio stations.
At a time in
the history of our county when many important development projects laid
incomplete; most times abandoned; when our people live in abject poverty; lack
safe drinking water; basic educational facilities; basic health facilities;
roads; among others, the Bong County Development Committee under the Chairmanship
of Hon. George Mulbah and Supt. Jackson as willing accomplice take solace in
donating funds intended for developments to radio stations. This decision does
not only signal insensitivity, but it proves to greater extent Hon. Mulbah,
members of the Bong County Development Committee and Supt. Jackson's lack of
understandings of the plights of our people. When a group of people can have

above and other unexplained circumstances surrounding the administration of the
Bong County Development Fund and the willingness of Superintendent Ranney B.
Jackson to always go along with decisions made by this committee, the United
Bong County Association in the Americas is left to believe Superintendent
Jackson is not really calling the shot if you will when it comes to the
development and administrative priorities of Bong County. Accordingly, the
United Bong County Association in the
UBCAA attaches
serious importance to this communication and urges Hon. George Mulbah, members
of the Bong Development Fund, and Supt. Jackson to take this matter seriously
and do the right thing – adhere to the above demands. The Bong County
Development Fund Committee was set up to identify and fund needed development
