The UBCAA Youth Development Portfolio

At UBCAA, Youth Development is a strategic intervention designed to remove barriers and replace them with pathways to growth, empowerment and success. We operate with a clear mandate: to transform raw potential into market-ready talent through rigorous pedagogical and vocational frameworks.

Scholarships and Tuition Aid

At the United Bong County Association in the Americas (UBCAA), we recognize that education is the ultimate catalyst for macro-economic resilience. Our Scholarship Program is a high-tier intervention designed to ensure that financial barriers do not stifle the intellectual potential of our youth. We prioritize critical thinking by providing underprivileged students with the resources required to excel in secondary and tertiary institutions across Liberia.

Our “Work-Readiness” Pipeline Volunteer Apprenticeships

Understanding that a degree without experience is a dead-end, UBCAA has instituted a premier Volunteer Apprenticeship Program. This initiative serves as a bridge between classroom theory and real-world application. Underprivileged youth across Bong County are placed within our operational offices and partner institutions to acquire the “Soft and Hard Skills” required to excel in a competitive job market.

Direct Employment

UBCAA does not just train for the market; we actively stimulate the market. Through our diverse capital projects—such as the Totota Youth Development Center and our Agro-Industrial intervention – we prioritize the recruitment of local, high-performing youth.
